if that is a fake, its a very good copy. but seriously, the only i can think off is to bring it to a good watch repair guy and have it assessed.
it look good but mahirap pa din masabi kung sa picture lang. best thing to do is bring it to a shop or to Omega service center,
btw, how much yun "cheap" na price niya?

I have seen good quality fake watches when I visited Bangkok Thailand last year.
you could have it check at a omega center, they do check of the products are real or not, like rolex and LV and the rest...
yep sa omega service center or dealer kaya makita kung orig nga kung papayag ang nagbebenta. magkano daw asking niya? if we may ask?
hes selling it for 24k pesos..duda lang ako kasi madami daw lumalabas na fake nung model na yan..actually nung una hes selling it for AU300 only na medyo pabiro..aprox 9k lang..heheeh tapos tumaas ng tumaas...
kasi ganito kwento nya...binenta lang daw sa kanya yung relo for $250 , i think parang nakaw yung item..,,,then told him ill buy it for $500
kung orig nga..

if you don't mind, how much is the asking price?![]()
if he's willing to leave it to you for a day or 2 have it check immediately kahit sa authorized dealer. kung orig sayang rin but kung fake at least naka ilag ka. good luck.
let say its fake..but the thing is...i was offering him kanina ng $700 cash...ayaw ibigay,,,gusto nya $800
kung fake nga magkano kaya?
bibili ka ba ng fake around letsay $800??
e sa $800 meron ka ng tagHeuer na brandnew orig pa...
kasi his wiiling to sell it for 800..
sometimes kasi even fake hindi nilaibebenta ng sobrang baba, way rin kasi yun ng doubt pero considering na orig nga, malamang napulot or nakaw nga.
another problem baka reported ng stolen or lost yan kaya mahirap rin ipa service if ever - magkasabit pa. pwede rin wag na ipa-service tutal chronometer siya and no battery to be replaced.
it's not about the price, if the seller stands that it's original, then I'm sure walang problema sa kanya kung ipa-check mo muna.
if he is not amicable to the set up, fake yan
kasi kanina pinakitaan ko na ng $700 heheh ayaw ibigay...kasi kung fake yun dapat binigay nya na ..gusto 800![]()
I have a non-chronograph Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean. Bought it for $3,500.00 (inclusive of tax) in 2005.
It comes with a Pictograms card, Chronometer Certificate card and International Warranty card. All of these will prove its authenticity and ownership details. Now if the seller can't show you these IDs, there is a possibility that what he is selling you is not his.
Arrange for an inspection from an authorized Omega watch center to determine if such is authentic. Next, thing to find out is who originally owns the watch. Omega keeps a registry of owners worldwide to protect the ownership claims of their clients.
If your transaction pushes thru, another thing you want to consider is the preventive maintenance cost. Chronometer watches are very complicated time pieces which requires maintenance of only authorized Omega technicians. In my case, I paid $125 for cleaning, re-calibration, buffing, etc. It was sent to NY and I got it back after 4 weeks. I was told by my jeweler to have this done at least every two years.
In my opinion, either this watch is a fake or a fenced item. Either way you are at a losing end. For peace of mind, buy only luxury items from authorized jeweler retailers.
Just adding my 2 cents![]()
ito observation ko kanina...hindi ba pag matic parang may umaalog sa loob ng relo? ganun kasi yung mga matic ko before..pero yung omega walang ganun..cant even feel na may self winding mechanism sa loob..i could be wrong sa mga bagong labas...hehe. then diba pag matic smooth ang "pitik" nung seconds na kamay? kasi yung omega hindi smooth..ang pitik nya is per second..parang yung pitik nga mga wallclock na battery operated..eheheh
or ganun talaga?
buti na lang hindi pumayag kanina..inaabutan ko na ng 700![]()
Good observations.
Chronometer watches are a special breed of automatic watches. Their craftsmanship is tested and exclusively certified as they meet certain precision standards.
If there are obvious signs of not being of high quality, I guess your hunch is as good as mine. Let an expert look at it and base your buying decision on the result of their findings.![]()
frenchtower, thanks..i had a rolex before, a really old model rolex given to me by my lolo..US navy kasi sya before.when he gave it to me.. medyo familiar ako kung ano yung titingnan sa matic ..unfortunately i lost the watch..was too young that time..1st yr highschool pa lang ako...nawala ko yung relo..
pansin ko kasi sa matic smooth yung movement ng secs hand not like the battery operated ones..tapos parang may umaalog sa loob..ehheh madalas ko kasi makita lolo ko na inaalog nya yung relo nya before wearing it![]()
had one of this kind before while working in bkk as a temporary replacement for my seiko kinetic titanium series thats due for service... sabi ng service technician na "class a" daw ang suot kong omega!
huh tanong ko paano mo nalaman, ipinakita sa akin yung genuine unit ang layo ang diperensya lalo na sa likod. masyadong refined ang finish ng original. btw, i bought mine for THB 2500.00 only![]()
