The SUV he was driving is the Genesis, the luxury brand segment of Hyundai Motors. Because of this, it will forever be known as the car Tiger crashed in or ended his career. “Isn’t this the car TW was driving when he crashed?”

i don't even remember what car paul walker was driving when he crashed and died.
come to think of it, aside from james dean's "little bastard" porsche 550 spyder, i do not remember any other car made (in)famous because a celebrity crashed it...
well, there's the OJ simpson-fame ford bronco... which i understand was acquired by an interested party for a hefty sum...
will someone be interested in the woods's hyundai...?
    heh heh heh.

Car looks like a Genesis GV80.

    From USA Today

    From Cars.com

This model got a perfect score from Car and Driver and topped models from more established luxury makes like Audi, BMW, Porsche and Volvo in their review.

That's quite a stretch doc hehe. Only takeaway I can think of is to avoid being complacent. Accidents can happen to anyone at any time. So best be careful and prepared. That boxing adage "Protect yourself at all times" comes to mind.

defensive driving. it's not about being having right of way. it's not about being dead right. it's about not being dead, right ?
    - lifted from a driving instructor's lecture.

    doesn't seem too far-fetched now.
    heh heh.

the net is now full of clips analyzing the car's so-called potential life-saving doodads.
interest veers away from tiger, to the car...

    but i wonder,
will they focus on the roadway's features, and make effective mitigations?

Impressive though is, the passenger shell is intact & even though the car turned turtle multiple times, the roof didn’t collapse.

Interestingly, if you grew up learning to drive only auto tranny, you instinctively step on the brakes to slow it down, a no no when driving fast on a sweeping curve. If you grew up driving a manual, you instinctively brake before downshifting.
