years ago, there was this talk that certain entities were in the business of trading peoples' contact information sheets...
it would explain why some folks would get letters from entities with whom they had not had business with.

Enlighten me on how this becomes illegal? Isn't it same with what globe who's been bothering me offering mobile plans because I have a landline from them? I don't see the data breach here since it came from Ford din. If ever ano kaso ang dapat i file ni Alex sa Ford?

Doc and i were talking about sharing to other entities. Like banks and such dahil contact center mostly ang mga naghahandle.

Now back to ford and alex. The mere fact na wala syang ford means wala sya dapat record sa kanila.

Kung sa promotional/marketing nila nakuha, then that could be from other sites or other sources as well not necessary from ford marketing. Medyo vague ang statement kung saan talaga galing and they just said it is from promotional.
