Yeah I imagine it's hard to grow up not being spoiled by the family fortune. And it's hard to stay driven when you know you have a big cushion to fall back on whatever happens.

There are exceptions of course but nothing really keeps fire lit in the belly like the actual, real need to put food on the table.

I'd blame it on social media. Seeing your peers being able to afford traveling, a new car, a new house while you can't is enough to make you question your life choices.
