It’s good enough up to a certain temperature. I needed something warmer when the temp here got close to 0.

I need one for -10s...kaya ng triple layer clothing up to -5, pero sa mountains with gust of wind...its brutal..

What is wrong with me

I told my friends I can't make it to the despedida dinner for me tomorrow. I told them it's not good to go out tomorrow because it's carmageddon. In reality, I plan to watch Avengers alone hahaha!

Uniqlo thermal clothes are not that effective IMHO.

You'd be better off considering something from North Face, Mountain Hardware or Columbia. Layering is also a good option.

Your friends planned a despedida party for you and you're the one who's not coming?

It's possible that subconsciously you don't want to leave the country then. Going to a movie instead to 'escape' what's coming or to delay it as much as you can.

Have you spoken to Crush yet? That could be another reason why you don't want to acknowledge to yourself that you're leaving soon.

Yep, those GoreTex jackets from North Face or Columbia will work. They are light and they can stand below -10*C temperatures. They also help trap the heat inside to keep you warm.
