I did tell my boss about my need to go to the US and he told me, when I get my promotion to AVP, then I can go, it can mean better opportunities for me pa daw outside the company. Honestly, I don't want a blue collar job kasi, but I guess that is where most people start. My Mom's anak anakan, she had good education in PH (AC for GS & HS, DLSU for grad and post grad) but ended up as a caregiver in the US. I would have gone back to the PH if I were her, but then again her reason to go to the US is to escape her family.
