Is it generally a good idea to resume exercising e.g. pushups, weights etc, immediately after getting blood drawn? Di kaya makasira sa ugat?

Ideally the next day pwede na rin naman. But not during the day you donated blood. Recover muna kunti.

I would even think at least 2 days rest would be ideal.

it's not really the ugat, as it is the equilibration time.
you just donated half a liter of water with protein and oxygen-delivering red blood cells..
it takes time for your body to re-distribute the liquids, proteins and electrolytes in your body, not to mention manufacturing replacement blood cells.
some donors report some degree of weakness or light-headedness, after the donation. the brain is very sensitive to decreased blood flow.
"baka kayo ma-bagsakan sa bench press."

my personal advice to myself is, "bukas na lang".

What will happen to our company?

I love my job because I have the most wonderful bosses in the entire planet My salary isn't good but the flexibility and independence that my bosses give me makes up for it. I also love what I do (controls - I don't make reports, I check it)

My problem is I am now contemplating on resigning kasi ginigipit na talaga kami ng company. People who leave are not being replaced (good thing I am a specialist/IC so I am a one man team).

My office buddy resigned in August and he told me that practically half of his team resigned na rin - I am not surprised! Why? They expect 1 person to do the job of 3! The rule now is 3 resignations = 1 hiring!

I am crying right now kasi grabe na talaga. It's like they expect us to build a space ship but they took away the tools and technology and left us with just a hammer and a saw I used to have 1 PC, 1 laptop, 3 DODs. They took away everything and I am left with just 2 DODs! I went as far as sending an email to the COO that I really need that laptop as I run multiple sessions of my program during peak days, and she told me, it's already exceptional that I have 2 DODs so I work with it. WHAT DID I FIND OUT NOW? THEY ARE ASKING JUSTIFICATION FOR MY REMAINING fcking DOD! WOW talaga! COME ON!!! My boss cannot do anything because although I report directly to HQ, I am on special arrangement, my cost center is still in Manila. My boss tried to get me to HQ for 4th quarter but surprise surprise - rejected because of cost.

I love what I am doing and I want to do well because my success reflects on my boss - the least I can do for my boss is to make him proud. How can I do my job properly if I don't have the tools for it! I really want to ride out this rock bottom phase in our company but I don't know how much longer I will last We are even giving up our office space in Makati and we have to make siksikan in our other office. Because the space is so small, we are arranged like a production line/factory. No space for personal effects (those things count) My office buddy told me, wag na ko magtaka at baka pati phone maging sharing na rin How can we do that when we are on calls most of the time?

Expect no bonus and increase din daw. That's all right for me. But please, don't take away what we need to perform our job well. Sobrang tipid pati paper at ink sa printer nagkakaubusan

I have a viber group with my resigned friends and they said the same I still don't know if it is worth it because very few people are lucky enough to have a job and boss that they love.

I did tell my boss about my need to go to the US and he told me, when I get my promotion to AVP, then I can go, it can mean better opportunities for me pa daw outside the company. But I am not kidding na ang hirap na mag trabajo kung wala ka naman tools and technology to do it. When they took away my PC and laptop, nag suffer din talaga in terms of time kasi ang bagal ng DOD (desktop on demand) Pag open pa lang ng files, ang tagal ng magintay.
