San kaya may murang quinoa? I know it's imported from South America and the price there are jacked up because North America is crazy about it. I wish someone would smuggle those seeds and start planting it at Philippines. Para mag mura.

S&R. That's where my friends who do low carbs buy it. They also make cauliflower rice.

    barack had a speechwriter.
    even jfk had a speechwriter.

but churchill... "he rolled his own". i like his "..we will fight them on the beaches..". his bulldog is very apt for him.
lincoln. he had a great speech writer. himself. he wrote his gettysburg address several times, because some folks back then wanted copies of the speech, and as there were no xerox machines yet... he wrote them. there were slight differences in lyrics of the copies.
FDR. yes and no. "...here's what i want to say. you guys can polish it up". but i believe his pearl harbor speech was from the heart.
cicero wrote his own, while the empire slept.

paQman chose the right topic. no one can say he made a mistake in the facts about his life.
There's even a movie about speech writing. Anyway I don't know if it's true that the late Marcos don't read anything during speeches. At least Pacquiao didn't download and plagiarizedhis his speech from the internet, like his co-senator. [emoji23]

May kilala ako speech writer ng mga pulitiko and CEOs. She can earn 20k up for a single speech. Mas mahal pa kung the following day kailangan na.

Creative writing can be really profitable. If you become good at it.

Si Butch Dalisay writes presidential speeches di ba? With that kind of calibre, magkano kaya isang piece nya.

Speaking of speech writers, naisip ko kawawa and masakit sa loob parati yung speech writer ni belabed preysident. Kadalasan di sya nagbabasa ng speech. Puro impromptu "Ay heyt drags. Ay wil kil yu." Minsan binabasa nya yung last para lang. Eh masaklap pa nun baka government employee sila, swelduhan, hindi per piece ang bayad na commercial rate. Nakakasama ng loob na yung pinag isipan mo di babasahin. Pero nasanay na siguro hehe

Yes, Butch Dalisay is a good writer. I wonder how much he earns nga.

Ninoy Aquino napakagaling magsalita . He doesn't have "umms" and he captivates his audience talaga.

is it possible, the co-senator had a clumsy speechwriter?

i think the co-senator would have made an even better impression, had he mentioned the source of his inspiration.
something like, ..."in the words of xxxx..."

Great speech for me and very motivational. I am just glad he never quoted a single phrase from the bible.
