You don't pit moderator against another Moderator. My point is don't put them on the spot.

I think They have discussed about whatever decision one moderator will be coming out. At least that's how I understand it.

Again if you don't agree with a certain Thread or posts. One can just ignore it, bakit kailangan pang mag ka issue?

Just to clear the air - Cathy banned JM because she has felt repeatedly disrespected over the course of several months already. The altercation today would've been dismissible if it was taken as a one-off, but it was the straw that broke the camel's back, as there have even been instances of grave personal threats via PM. That would've constituted a permanent ban long ago but we decided to let it go. However, JM has repeatedly implied that Cathy is not fit to be a moderator and this latest spat in a series of many was construed as disrespect which is why he was banned.

Now to be fair, what JM raised in the previous pages is a reasonable call-out and it at least deserves to be discussed. To be clear, S3x-related posts are not allowed in the forum (heck I even have to spell it funnily just so it doesn't get censored), and you can argue that p0rn and s3xual fantasies fall under that.

We keep Tsikot generally free flowing and you can post whatever you want in the OT threads, as long as it isn't offensive to anyone and a certain level of respect is kept for everyone.

Because of what has transpired here in the past few days, Cathy has decided to go on a self-imposed hiatus. It does not mean she is no longer a mod, as she can return anytime she wishes (just as other mods like Clavel and Ghosthunter can return anytime too).

Again, this escalated way more than it should have, but what's done is done. I hope that everyone here learned a thing or two moving forward. Tsikot is primarily a car forum but has evolved to become an online watering hole for its long-time members to discuss practically anything and everything under the sun. The underlying expectation is that noone should cause disorder, and that everyone should treat everyone else with respect.

I'm sure that everyone can comply with those basic rules. Take a chill pill everyone, enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Correct. I'm for this.

May I also suggest that the forum rules be revisited and if needed, do a little tweaking. Nothing is permanent, even rules need evolving, adapting.
