I don't think they play with them, lol. Gundam collections are expensive. An enthusiast will offer USD10,000 for that.

yes i know they don't play with them

i just used the word "toys"

i have a friend in his 40s (single) who's a big fan of anime (among other things) and he spends a lot of money on collectibles (including trips to Japan just to buy stuff)

so a mutual friend was setting him up on a blind date

the potential blind date was told about my friend's hobbies

the girl found it weird but then the friend told her "if a guy can spend that kind of money on toys, he has money to burn"
