Da Hong Pao (Big Red Robe) is a Wuyi rock tea grown in the Wuyi Mountains. It is a heavily oxidized, dark oolong tea.
According to legend, the mother of a Ming dynasty emperor was cured of an illness by a certain tea, and that emperor sent great red robes to clothe the four bushes from which that batch of tea originated. Six of the original bushes,[not in citation given] growing on a rock on the Wuyi Mountains and reportedly dating back to the Song dynasty, still survive today and are highly venerated. Famously expensive,[1][2] Da Hong Pao can sell for up to US$1,025,000 per kilogram or US $35,436 per ounce (20g of Da Hong Pao tea from one of the mother plants was sold for ¥156,800 in 1998).[3]
In recent years, a number of companies have invested in preserving the interest in this tea and other so-called "artisan" teas, which typically are of very high quality and have rich histories as is true with Da Hong Pao. These have an initially high cost of production (and typically are only considered authentic when grown in their place of origin), but, as they have quickly become popular in Western countries, prized selections of the tea are available each year, with quality being consistent because of the increased popularity of the tea.
Cuttings taken from the original plants have been used to produce similar grades of tea from genetically identical plants. Taste variations produced by processing, differences in the soil, and location of these later generation plants is used to grade the quality of various Da Hong Pao teas.
Due to its high quality, Da Hong Pao tea is usually reserved for honored guests in China.

Saw an MC na muntik na nasagasaan because he beat a red light. I was wondering if they learn from near miss like this? Or is it like a shot of dopamine for them?

Dahil lahat ng taga MM, nasa Baguio or somewhere out there....
Like this weekend,- I was talking to a server in one of the restaurants there in Baguio,- buhos na naman daw ang mga turista nilang Pinoy last weekend.
So, at least 40 minutes na iyon.....
Hayyzzz....

January 15th, 2018 09:50 AM #16899Enjoyed my sunday driving in my new car. Its really fun for a crossover. And that DCT really makes you feel all of the torque which comes in full blast at a ridiculous 1500 rpm until 5k+
this BK Pajero tried to race with me in the service road and then in the c5. Hehehe.

January 15th, 2018 10:37 AM #16900Ako fafa cvt, burat din sa mga naka motor, pero one time gusto ko banggain yun nakamotor, Tauhan pala namin sa yun isa, And the. It flashed to me, o nga pala we have like 4 motorcycles parked in our establishment so one of them I can meet in the streets. at eto pa, one time wiling-wili ako sa isa bata na girl sa isang house party sa in laws ko, the young 3 year old is so bibo and her smiles just lights me up, kasi lahat ng patawa ko tumatawa. And then nun uwian na, sumakay sya sa motor kasama Nanay and tatay nya, nasa gitna sya tapos uuwi pa sila sa Cavite, imagine from QC to Cavite. Tapos yun bata kalong-kalong lang nila sandwiched by both parents, all because of the toy she gets every Christmas from y wife's family.
This is messed up world fafa CVT, it really plays with your emotions, Minsan talaga gusto ko bumili ng tangle at sagasaan lahat ng motor na NASA harap ko parang GTA in front of stoplight. Imagine I was in front of stoplight, uy sabi ko pag nag-go to pwede ko Mag 0-60 para ma Italian tune up naman, tapos. Nakaka road rage grabe, and then there is this young girl na I imagine sakay ng motor. What a life!
