Greenhills during the 80's (70's) - fond memories?

Although maganda pa din naman ang bagong Greenhills, I still miss the old greenhills especially the greenhills during the 80's.

Naaalala ko dun nag pa event ang Pepsi ng unang skateboarding event sa pilipinas. Sumunod nun mga BMX na at RC.

Sobrang miss ko ang Arby's roast beef, Choo-choo junction spaghetti train restaurant, the ice cream parlor na may complete NBA memorabilia sa 2nd floor with a small basketball area (pinangarap ko na ganun ang room ko).

Ding-dong shop kung saan nakakabili ng sperry tops na aqua marine. Buti nga nandun pa REGINA's pati yung may aring guy nandun pa din - classic!

Yung sinehan sa taas ng virra mall - sarap mag afternoon nookie dun e, hehe. Dun ko napanuod si Jestoni Alarcon and Rita Avila movie kse nga walang nanunuod tapos sobrang dilim, hehe.

Tapos ang daming fond memories with barkada and girlfriends!

At Disco Stereo kung saan pwede kang mag pa-tape, hehe. Katabi din nun yung Fun house kung saan nakakabili ng stink bomb (na pinasabog ko sa faculty room ng school namin, after a while naglabasan lahat ng mga teachers, hehe).

The thing I remember most about Greenhills is the after-curfew drag-racing. I watched a few with friends. Beyond that...... I don't remember anything else. Well, it was dark, everything was closed, and Marcos was still in charge.

Add: Oh, I also remember EDSA and South Expressway totally deserted and we'd be flying by in my friend's souped up Celeste on the way home.

yup lagi rin ako sumasama sa mga older cousins ko mag drag race dyan....box type kotse nila....tapos ang sounds dati 4 pcs na 6x9 na JBL lang ....tapos equalizer lang bumabayo na....hehehhe

tapos hinahaluan nila ng aviation gas yata yun gasolina ng box type nila...hinde ko na maalala dahil sobrang bata ko pa nun...
