    IMO, either Galaxy Watch or WearOS (Android Wear).

    Fitbit/Garmin are good options.

    Xiaomi is cheap, so it doesn't hurt if he never uses it.

    Yup, correct, because I’m an apple user so i will pretend I don’t like apple watch so he will suggest alternative from which i can insert question like, “what if i plan to go for android will that serve me as well?”

    so he can reflect as android user and hoping to get his best opinion...

    then once i’ve got his answer, I think it’s fair enough to give that smartwatch which he think better for android as a gift to him... what you think?

    Agree with ice15. Mi band. Recently purchased mi band 3 for only 1200. Dahil sa 11.11 sa lazada. Good start para malaman kung trip nya talaga ang smartwatch o hindi. Kung hindi, ok lang. Mura lang

    Got the response from my kuya, hindi siya updated sa smartwatch and it’s not his priority as per our conversation... hehehe... thanks for suggestions, i might consider the Mi band for the meantime ...

    Grabbed a TicWatch Pro for $175 last Black Friday sale. Price back to $250. Still testing, but definitely better sa Huawei Watch I had before

    Tested the AW4 last night for swimming.
    I’m impress of the data i’ve got... so happy!
