I was sitting by myself in an sc place this morning, while waiting for wifey who was attending the pta meeting in our mid kid's school.....
A lady asked me if she can share the table with me and I said it is okay and so she joined me.... Later on she told me "sama ako sa iyo kuya....". At first I did not understand, but then it dawned on me that she was solicitating.... I could not believe what I heard as she looks very decent.... I asked why and she told me that it is for her schooling... I could only close my eyes and shake my head in disbelief from what I was hearing...I did not ask for more details, but secretly gave her some money which I guess should get her by somehow... She was thanking me profusely and was almost crying but I requested her to stop as people around will start to notice... we talked a bit more and before we parted, I told her that I will be praying for her....
I guess other guys may take advantage of her in the future but I sincerely hope not. Sometimes it only takes one break and everything will be okay, and I pray that today is the break the lady is waiting for.... God bless whoever you are.......

Text. I really appreciate it when busy people still manage to take the time to send a message.

finally, after many days of searching for this distinct raucous sound.
i spotted the "collared kingfisher" perched high atop a narra tree in my daughter's school.
passing by the filthy san juan river, flock of "black-naped terns" greeting passersby.
