He's was a great all around player... a perfect sidekick to MJ. A prototypical small forward who can do everything

But I have to disagree with the "greatest all-around player" quote.... don't forget KG, Magic, MJ, and all the other stars before and currently playing.

The Conference semi-final pitted the Bulls against their rivals, the New York Knicks. Down two games, With 1.8 seconds left, and the Bulls down, Jackson had designed a play for Toni Kukoc’s much to Pippen’s dismay. This was when Pippen refused to go back in the game.

and if my memory serves me right Toni swishes the ball in the bucket.

Yep, but in terms of all-around play (most notably defense), Pippen ranks at or near the top I think it was Kerr who said that Pippen is that rarest of players who can dominate or make his presence felt in a ballgame without scoring too many points

Pwede bang huwag nating i-merge lahat ng NBA topic sa isang thread lang? Ang hirap kasi sobrang haba na nung Perpetual NBA thread hindi mo malaman kung saang portion pinag-usapan yung tungkol kay Grant Hill for example. Yeah, Toni Kukoc made the shot, further boosting Phil Jackson's reputation as Zen Master, Pippen issued a public apology the next day.

As analysts said, siguro hanggang ngayon laking sisi Portland that they have passed on Pippen during his drafting days....hehhe...Talagang pinagtampuhan sila ng grasya....hehe
