Kapag natatalo...laging sinasabing dinaya?

    Villanueva only 3rd
    in own quick count
    Posted: 3:26 AM (Manila Time) | May 12, 2004
    By Blanche S. Rivera
    Inquirer News Service

THIS must be the only quick count operation by a political party showing its own candidate lagging behind.

The Bangon Pilipinas party of presidential candidate Eduardo Villanueva started its own quick count yesterday, and as of 2 p. m. showed Koalisyon ng Nagkakaisang Pilipino (Coalition of United Filipinos, KNP) standard bearer Fernando Poe Jr. leading the presidential race.

Villanueva was often placed third or fourth in his party's own count.

However, Bangon campaign operations officer Dong Cucio said that the results of any quick count, whether its own or the ones being done by information technology schools and television networks, did not indicate the winner in the elections.

Only about eight percent of all returns from the precincts have been included in the unofficial quick counts, he said.

"It is too early to say if there is a trend. As for us, we will do our best to ensure that our votes are counted because many boards of election inspectors do not know that an "Eddie" vote should be counted for Bro. Eddie Villanueva," Cucio said in a phone interview.

    hypocrite? now that's just harsh.

i suggest that you try to get all the facts first before blurting out lines like this... (btw, I voted for GMA).

in the interview last night with the Bangon Pilipinas president, he stated that at least even if their candidate Eddie Villanueva will not win this elections, at least they have given Filipinos a decent alternative to all those politicians.

so far, it is only FPJ that is being a sourpuss.

The counting isn't even 25% complete, angal na kaagad sya; i hear that he didn't even show up at his own "victory rally" yesterday.

Assuming that what they're saying is true, na dinadaya sila...what if FPJ wins? From their own mouths they say may dayaan, so the elections aren't valid, even if they did really win. eleksyon uli!

eh kung may dayaan talaga, like yung dito sa pampanga,

yung isang incumbent mayor natalo sa lahat ng precints except two,
yung isa balwarte niya so given.
yung isa naman hindi niya balwarte pero zero ang vote para sa kalaban.

    obvious naman na cheating nila.

si tsong (joey marquez) eh nagconcede na.....kinong-gratulate pa si golez na kalaban nya, giving way for a new mandated official...

I dont know how he fared as a mayor, but that kind of action for a man like tsong who is not even a full bloodied politician (trapo) is commendable....... sana maging example yan doon sa iba na ayaw tumanggap nang pagkatalo, tapos manggugulo pa...... lalo lang walang naitutulong sa bayan...

    kaya KUDOS sa yo TSONG!!!

i will apologize if i was misinformed, but i thought i remembered reading somewhere that he/his party was complaining about fraud. it is, however, difficult to get accurate, cross-referenced news stories about this election from the other side of the earth.

Mga kandidatong Talunan...
