what % of the people you see everyday are STUPID?

so think about this, guys:

you wake up in the morning, and get ready...drive or take public transpo to work or school...sit in class/your office/the corner store drinking beer all day, then come home. sometimes may kasamang gimmick or trip to the store/mall, etc.

and yes, you also log onto tsikot.com and probably other forums/chat rooms and interact with people virtually also.

during a typical day you come into contact with many, many people. how many of these people make you think to yourself "geez, this person is a MORON"?

Not naman MORON pero i'd say 1/10 or 2/10 of the people i see are stupid. pero this would depend on the place din. There are places where there are a lot of stupid people

hmm...for me i think is 5/10 people that i encounter daily are not really moronic but just plain stupid..mostly are jeepney drivers, pedicab drivers, and motorcyclists. if i count the number of persons that i encounter in a day, believe me, i will lose count. :D

I presume everybody, including myself, especially every driver - particulary the PU drivers, as stupid. Then I take extra precaution. I remember one of my bosses said, if you make instructions - make it sure that they are stupid-proof.

2. Noontime shows doing doing stupid acts for your kids to accept their normal.
3. Stupid programs like punk'd and reality show: it force you to believe they're real.
How can you act normal in front of a camera, for crying out of loud.
4. Stupid Pimp my Ride where form is better than function. Watch it with kids and let them develop bad taste with cars. 20 inch rim? Bling!
5. MTV is full of stupid artists. Everybody just want to be famous and rich as fast as they can. Where's the Jimi Hendrix, Beatles, The Doors of this world? We need rebels, not corporate manufactured entertatainers.
6. Stupid commercials.
7. Stupid parents who let their kids grow up in front of TV and playstations.
8. Stupid kids raised by stupid parents.
9. Stupid E-VAT.
10. Stupid sells. See the TV ratings shoot up high and the products.

And best of all: Science says that stupidity is in the genes.

I'm proud to be stupid.

Most locals wanted to leave but has no means to do so. What is frightening is, if ALL the expats leave here, this country will ceased to function, it will end up like Madagaska where you have warlords and dying people!.

PS: There is a distinction between "stupid people" and idiots. The latter are "gone cases" beyond reprieve.

What would constitute stupid behavior ba?

If you do something out of ignorance or mis-information - that is not stupidity. Although, people who know better will think you are stupid.

Stupid behavior is actually knowing what's the right way of doing things and, yet, still doing the wrong thing... So, stupidity is actually a choice of doing the wrong thing.

Examples:

Not Stupid... Falling flat on the floor after someone pulls-out your chair from under you while you weren't looking. You fell and looked stupid, but it wasn't your fault.

Stupid... Having to have your engine overhauled, 'coz you neglected to check your engine oil level regularly. You know that you should've been doing your regular vehicle checks, but you didn't... Now, it cost you your engine.
