At every UAAP opening I hear the following chants/jeers:

UST: "Public school! Public school!"
UP: "Binabaha!! Binabaha!!"

And this I heard from a DLSU fan during the Finals of the Filoil/Flying V Homegrown Cup:

"JRU!!!! Jologs R Us!!!!!"

Lupit non ah. Pero seryoso ito, kwento ito sa akin ng isang La Salle alumnus na that manalo matalo cheer was used by Letran sa NC during the '70's esp. when DLSU was still there, ayun nauwi sa isang major riot bet. the 2 which forced DLSU to quit the NCAA.

There was a time (early '90s yata) when DLSU had to stop cheering "Go La Salle..." because the other school would always cheer "Bobo Lasalle" with them. Ok na sana tapos biglang gumawa sila ng (I kid you not) "Bringing Out the Best in Ourselves La Salle" para kontrahin yung stereotype sa kanila na bobo.

While haning out in Katipunan talking about our grade school and high school days:
Friend (to our other friends): Mga kick out sa (Ateneo) Grade School dyan napupunta. *points to Kostka*
Me: Oo nga. *laughs*
Friend: Pero mas mahal pa tuition dyan sa kesa sa grade school!
Us: TALAGA?!?
Friend: Oo, kasi mas mahirap tuturan yung bobo.


What students say upon reaching their destination:
La Sallian: Driver, I'm getting off here.
Atenean: Gotta find a parking space.
UP: Mama, bayad po!

I got this text from a friend when Game 2 of the UAAP was postponed because of milenyo:
"Guys, this afternoon's game is cancelled. Baha MRT & LRT, the UST crowd can't come."

Grow up guys. I know it is a joke and maybe I don't have a sense of humor. But what's so funny about being a working student? Are you not glad that some of you attended good schools and that you have not experienced what these poor people had? What do you expect from a student who has everything and from a student who has to work his butt out just so he can finish school? Do they deserve to be insulted or respected?
