Til - Thailand has the highest number of gun owners in south east Asia. Apparently, we're only a distant third in our region.

What's even more surprising to me is that the Thais have a more "dynamic" underground gun economy. Tinalo pa Ang paltik makers ng Cebu. 🤯

With the bad press we've been having in the international scene, this is quite the revelation to me. Or ibang klase Lang talaga Ang PR machine Ng Thailand at Ng ibang ASEAN countries.

This came to light to me after leŕrning about the Bangkok mass shooting the other day (in the backdrop of the ongoing bloody thai-cambodian border battle)

Not surprising, daming clients, mga private armies sa golden triangle.
Most likely yung demobraphy ng guns owners ay nasa mga borders.

TIL - Read in a Reddit post that the Mitsubishi Xpander is sorta popular among lesbians. The moment I read it, it just clicked in my head.... 3 lesbians in the office, 2 are driving Xpanders and the 3rd, a Rush.

You might be on to something. It would seem from a non scientific basis that the EcoSport is popular among girls.

Til - a highschool classmate of mine is a descendant of Jose Rizal.

It makes me wonder why he never told anybody about it. To think this is one of the guys who taught me how to smoke and drink. 😅

one of our event speakers was a rizal scholar and historian.

basically, rizal was as human as you and me. practical jokes and all.

I had a batchmate na may permanent parking spot dun sa admin dahil sa dami niyang poste. I think may carry over pa siya sa next school year hehe. When I got suspended, ginawa akong messenger ng admin bringing notes to different classrooms hehe. Sorry OT.

rizal had no recognized living direct descendants.
his bloodline lives on via his sisters' and brother's offspring.
one of our cabinet secretaries claims descendance from one such sister.

Adolf Hitler's namesake triumphs in Namibia local elections fifth time in a row | Euronews
    by Aleksandar Brezar
    Nov. 27, 2025

Namibian politician Adolf Hitler Uunona has retained his seat in his small northern constituency yet again despite his controversial name.

A local politician in Namibia who shares his name with Nazi Germany's notorious leader has retained his seat for the fifth time in a row, after reportedly winning the Wednesday local elections in his constituency.

Adolf Hitler Uunona has represented Ompundja in the Oshana region since 2004 as a member of the South West Africa People's Organisation, or SWAPO.
In an interview with German newspaper Bild in 2020 — when he won his fourth mandate — Uunona said he had “nothing to do” with Nazi ideology.

He also rejected any notion of world domination.

"It wasn't until I was growing up that I realised: This man wanted to subjugate the whole world," Uunona said. “I have nothing to do with any of these things."

He explained that his father named him after the notorious Nazi leader responsible for the Holocaust. However, Uunona pointed out that “he probably did not understand” what it meant.

"As a child I saw it as a totally normal name," Uunona insisted. “It does not mean I have Adolf Hitler's character or resemble that of Adolf Hitler of Germany,” he told Namibian press in a separate interview.

He goes by the name Adolf Uunona in his daily life, but he maintains he has no plans to change it, as it is “too late for that”.
Namibia was once a German colony and part of German South West Africa, and Germanic names like Adolf remain common.

After World War I, it was under South African control until its independence in 1990
