No problem on the family member's knowledge of use. It's just that by the time they spotted the fire, the extinguishers they had just didn't have the juice, and the one that did was too heavy for the people on the scene at the time. I'm thinking of getting the big ones with wheels, as they're more handy than the wall-mounted 25 pounders.

But yeah, it might be time for a few drills...
