Anyway, I'll start. I dont even know if this will qualify as geekiness but ive seen the whole Star Trek Voyager tv series twice consecutively. but im not a real Star Trek fan.

the geekiest thing about me is my appearance. i wear dark rimmed glasses. i'm slim (5'9" * around 130 lbs) and i'm 27 years old but i still look like college student

hahaha! me too. I was never really a fan of Star Trek, pero nung nakita ko si Seven of Nine sa voyager series...:drool:. And yes, I watched the whole series. some episodes even twice...

• I try to collect star wars memorabilia. kinukumpleto ko yung expanded universe. now that's geeky.
  
• I went to the premiere of the Phantom Menace dressed up as Princess Amidala.
  
• I had a PC since I was in 4th grade. (that was way back during the 80's) -this means I've played early sierra games such as Leisure suit larry, Police Quest, Heroes Quest and so on... (geek--> old school-style)

I still like to play video games. I collect action figures. I like sci-fi movies. I like gadgets.

I occasionally update myself with the latest Gundam model kits releases from Bandai, even if I'm not into collecting Gunpla anymore.

When I feel like a mech head, I scour the net for technical schematics and diagrams of fictional anime machines. :nerd:

We purchase a copy of HWM whenever we can, tapos yun ang babasahin ko sa banyo. Hangga't hindi ko nababasa from cover to cover, yun lagi ang dadalhin ko.

And I research for various reviews on gadgets -- that I already own. :puyat:

Anyways, here's a defintion (a portion) of the word "geek":

A geek is someone who spends time being "social" on a computer. This could mean chatting on IRC or ICB, playing multi-user games, posting to alt.***.bondage.particle.physics, or even writing shareware. Someone who just uses their computer for work, but doesn't spend their free time "on line" is not a geek. Most geeks are technically adept and have a great love of computers, but not all geeks are programming wizards. Some just know enough unix to read mail and telnet out to their favorite MUD.

Geeks are generally social outcasts from mainstream America. The ranks of geekdom are swelled with gamers, ravers, science fiction fans, punks, perverts, programmers, nerds, subgenii, and trekkies. These are people who did not go to their high school proms, and many would be offended by the suggestion that they should have even wanted to. Geeks prefer to socialize with other geeks, the self proclaimed weird. Therefore they go online to organize parties, food runs, drink runs, and movie nights, and be assured that their companions would rather talk about superheros as modern mythology than the latest football scores.

i read. a lot. anything that holds my interest. i like sci-fi and fantasy movies and books. i read slashdot, osnews, and digg everyday. i like to learn new things everyday. and i make computer applications. just look at my signature <edit>, custom user title, and location (ngayon ko lang napansin)</edit>. if that's not geeky, i don't know what is.
