i had this experience in one of our mancom meetings wherein all >the managers who >attended were all ust graduates! the lasallians, atenistas, and up graduates were absent! - weird but true!

...you think that the UAAP is not all about basketball, however, when we're in the winning streak, its all about BASKETBALL!

...you're the most resourceful and the moderate-type in the workplace

...you write better english and you critize those who are having a hard time writing in english.

...you just give a grin everytime people talk about schools especially when the topic is about top universities and UST is not included in the topic.

...you think that these people (#4) missed half of their life.

...you love your school but hate a lot of your professors.

...you were forced to sleep in school because the streets inside and outside are flooded.

...(in relation to above fact), you always have alipunga.

...you can say this in one breath everytime someone asks you: "Where did you graduate?", and you can answer this in less than 60 seconds: "The Royal and Pontifical University of Santo Tomas, the Catholic Univeristy of the Philippines, founded in 1611, the oldest university in Asia."

...you're surprised that classrooms in UST now have airconditioning.

...you know how to parallel park in tight spaces.

...you witness a suicide or a suicide attempt inside the campus.

...you still know by heart 731-3101 (trunkline)

...you know that UST produced three Philippine presidents: Quezon, Macapagal, and... sino nga pala yung isa?

...hindi mo kilala kung sino-sino yung mga statues sa Main Building

...you try to correct people who says yellow is the official color ng UST. It is gold not yellow.

..."wala lang" and "yun lang" are common expressions

...you can stand harassment from security guards

...you seldom complain or you seldom speak-out or you were never vocal about what you feel and think unless asked

...naligaw ka the first time you went inside the campus.

...you're used to wearing uniforms.

...you can walk through flooded streets.

...you can sing the UST Hymn

...you're good in basketball.

...you wake up early to get a good parking spot.

...guys: you had a gf/fling from AB, Commerce, or CFAD (CAFA)

...girls: you had a bf/fling from Science, Medtech/Pharmacy, or PT

...you have pirated "xeroxed" text books.

...you used to eat at Lopez Canteen

...you had Hepa A.

...(in relation to above fact) you have immunity from Hepa A.

...you hate Aric del Rosario (but adore him everytime we win...but still hate him)

...you always attend the Paskuhan

...you have visited the Museum of Arts and Sciences

...you believe that when you walk under the Arch of the Centuries, you would go to another dimension

...your car's windshield is margined with UST Stickers

...you have a UST PE Uniform. (best if you have that very short yellow shorts)

...you and your partner were able to "make out" at the Tinoko Park (during the night, of course)

...your UST ID has 3 pages.

...your have a collection of The Varsitarian. (at least those issues during your stay in UST)

...you have a "Vuisitarian".

...you hate students from La Salle (but you have friends there)

...you can explain why the statue Father Benavides is posed that way.

...you unconsciously show your ID everytime you enter any building (or even malls!)

...you know that St. Thomas the Aquinas is not the founder of UST.

...you can tell which is the santisimo rosario parish and which is the main bldg.

...you thought January 28 and August 8 is really a holiday

...you can walk through the overpass in espana without fear

...you know your prayers more than your national anthem

...you know how many statues there are in front of the central library, and you know how many of them are standing and how many of them are kneeling down

...you are fashionably updated

-UST is so big in my 4 years stay i've only seen my sister once.

sa almost 4 years na na stay ko dito, awa ng diyos di pa'ko nakakalakad sa baha. :D

some of my cousins study rin dito, pero di ko pa sila nakikita til now. to think yung isa ka-building ko. AB ako, commerce siya. :D

5 years (almost 6 years) experience ko sa UST. mas malalim pa sa nilakaran mo kimpoy. kung sa yo, hanggang balls lang, sa akin, hanggang dibdib ko. from espana, to dapitan, to bambang.
naranasan ko na rin mahulog sa manhole and habulin ng dagang patay. na-experience ko din once na during ROTC, biglang nag rumble, habang nakatikas pahinga yung isang cadet sa right ko, biglang pinukpok ng bote sa ulo. naranasan ko na ring maholdap, panggabi ako nun (sa may forbes), tinanggay yung mga technical pens ko. may nakita na rin akong sinaksak. dami kong nakikitang bakat (panty) ng mga kolehiyala from Sciences. May mga nabolang (and naging syota) na taga Educ (dingding lang ang pagitan), hinabol si Alice Dixson (those were the days), nakipagngatngatan kay Eula Valdez (during one AB-Eng'g basketball game), and finally, panakapangasawa din ng tomasino (esmi ko, from AB). ;)

Being a Thomasian practically all my life (I studied at UST since Elementary and now I work there), e sa palagay ko karamihan ng binanggit sa post ni Happy Gilmore ay Tama.. Naaalala ko pa rin yung panahon na iniwan ko yung oto ko para mag bilyar kasama mga barkada ko sa Cue Bridge pag balik ko pinasok na ng tubig yung loob ng oto ko sa lalim ng baha (1990 pa ito )

i was from college of the holy spirit and naexperience ko din maglakad sa 5inch deep na baha at umuulan, to think na all white uniform ko...
