Can the victim insist on having his/her car repaired at the shop he/she desires? Or is it enough that the one at fault offer to have the damage fixed somewhere else, BUT assuring the same quality of paint and workmanship?

If you guys know anything about this, please help us out here. Any logical opinion is very much welcome.
