Im gonna dismantle my ford Explorer Eddie Bauer V6 engine from intake manifold up to fuel rails as well as yun mga pulleys, tapos assemble ko ulet. I only learn thru actual doing kasi eh not watching youtube. wala lang gusto ko na talaga maintindihan ang makina and all that comes with it, like sensors and others.

Lilinisin ko bawat component / parts sa Explorer ko. Explorer ko kasi tengga lang sa bahay, why not learn eh kasi V6 naman yun so pwede na apply learning sa furture cars

the multi-thousand, made-in-USA sets, are for serious work, and will probably outlast your explorer.
it separates the serious car DIYers, from the boys playing with their toys.
i mean, these are precision items, built using extremely hard metal alloys.

i don't know about you, but there is satisfaction in fondling good tools. they actually fondle better than cheap made-in-china tools.

Most branded tools like snap-on, husky, etc., meron or marami nyan sa binondo hardwares.

I use Hazet, and Gedore for torx and allen key sets. And I have Craftsman metric and English open and box wrenches.

Pliers and grips are Stanley
Screwdrivers are also Stanley
Dremel for my small power tools
Britool for my heavy duty sockets (colored black)
Heyco for my torque wrench

And a whole lot more.

Nga pala, advise ko sayo OB, buy an air compressor, para you can use pneumatic tools.

Tactix Socket Set 37-PC 1/4 inch. DR (Chrome) | Lazada PH

This is a Chinese made generic wrench set. Usually nire-rebrand lang to into several brands (ie. Buffalo, etc). This should work as you will not be using it daily. If you want the "real" tools, look for sets made in Germany or USA. Proto is very highly regarded.

The bigger question is, why would you use a 1/4 drive dismantling your engine? I'm pretty sure kahit ang gym fit body mo, hindi uubra sa mga tornilyo dyan.

Make sure you have a torque wrench too.

At ang mga tornilyo ha, kahit kelangan mo, wag mong babawasan yung sa kotse!

hinde naman. I love my Explorer. I have cleaned its engine twice already. pero parang di ako satisfied sa surface cleaning lang, parang gusto ko tanggalin yun mga manifold, throttle body and others up to the turnilyo. tapos mga turnilyo sawsaw ko sa rust cleaner, para hindi mukang kalawang

I like cleaning kasi eh, it's therapeutic for me. but not cleaning the house, sa maid na lang yun. na-challenge ako i-clean ang buong engine up to dun sa mga singet singet kaya gusto ko dismantle. yun lang mukhang kelangan ko i-train sarile ko sa mga ratchet, socket and torx na mga ganito. anyways, no hurries naman coz I have all the time in the world, like 2 hours every sunday morning. hobby lang.

and also sipag mga Amerikano making youtube videos of fixing their american cars that's why I chose my explorer. videos like these will be my reference point though I'm not really satisfied in watching it, I wanna do the actual

I have an open wrench, back wrench and socket wrench na made in Germany. These tools will outlast me.
