^ yup another way to get rid of rat smell is baking soda mixed with vinegar.proper instruction can be found in youtube or in the net. naalala ko tuloy yung dating house namin na mariming kami nahuhuling rats. ang ginagawa namin magkakapatid sa rat ay "killing me softly." inilulubog namin ang cage kasama ang rat sa pale na punong ng tubig then lubog ang cage for 5 sec tapos breath lang ang peste ng 2 sec tapos lubog ulit ang cage ng 10...15...20 sec. etc... until matikog ang peste sa huling hininga nya. tawa kami ng tawa ng utol ko nung mga panahon na yun kung saan bata pa kami. Hmmm time flies nga naman...

Thanks everyone! I'll have them wash the trap with baking soda plus vinegar.
I really wanted to torture the rat, I found out that it ate my soap, and it chose the most expensive. Walang natira. Parang nangaasar pa e!
It looks like it passes through the bathroom window, all 3 rats were first seen in the bathroom eWe'll have it screened and wired (same as screen doors) so the rat cant chew through it. I still cant figure out why the rats always pass that particular bathroom window when other windows are more accessible. I'll sprinkle some pepper on the outside windows so they can be deterred by the smell.
There's a burrow in our backyard, I am thinking of burning it and hope that none of the neighbors will complain about the smoke

I was told that for every rat you see, there are 3. I hope this is the last rat in our house

August 12th, 2014 01:42 AM #209Mabilis dumami rat, very prolific sila sa reproduction. Parang mga Bonobo Ape sa hilig sa pagpaparami. Dapat siguro hindi na sewer rat tawag sa kanila. Dapat Bonobo rat na.

i find the zinc chloride rat poison the most effective. it used to be sold in farm supply stores. it was the bayer brand made in leverkusen germany. i used to chop the tail section of the local kuhol and sprinkle with a pinch of zinc chloride and release the kuhol to the area where the rats burrow in the rice field. a few minutes later, rats are found dead within ten feet from area of ingestion
Are they on track to surpass last year's sales?
