Grabe mahal na ng pandesal ngayon. ₱4.50 for small sa pan de manila. I think few years ago ₱50 is enough for our family to last till next day. Now ₱100 medyo kulang pa.

I consider pandesal as a poor man's bread nung bata ako. We always buy it instead of tasty bread dahil tingin ko sa tasty bread eh pang mayaman. Now it seems the opposite is true?

perhaps it is cheaper if purchased at the less-premium pandesal-er's?
    say, mang tacio's neighborhood bakery?
of course, i also expect it to be not as yummy as pan de manila's...

the french baker's larger pandesal sells at 115 per bag of 10, yata.

Perhaps mas mura nga, last time I bought from those are before pandemic. Also I enjoy pandesal from neighborhood bakery because it's smaller and more airy. Especially in the morning when it's hot.
