Implemented na to sa Heathrow airport for several months na AFAIK as the secondary line of security protection. AFAIK, over 1.5M passengers na dumaan dito. So far, this type of device is not being used at any of America's major airports and not at any of Asia's major airports. However, authorities at JFK in New York are mulling on the idea of installing this device.
It does not see private parts since it just shows on screen the countours of a passenger's body in mono-chromatic white gray. However, any concealed item in inside the cloathing of the passenger would be marked AFAIK as a black or red item. If the passengers do not want his/her private parts profiled, there is a device that can be placed in front of the genetalia.
For the Philippines, utilizing this tech would still be proabably some years off due to the expensive cost of the machines.
