TMJ disorder

Mga ka tsikot need some knowledge about it who experience it personaly...my wife is having headache for almost 2months na hindi na aalis first diagnosis is tension headache taken the prescribe meds di na alis then a cranial ct-scan is done the results turns ok naman then papabunot sana ng 3rd molar(wisdom tooth)kasi sumasakit siya our friend dentist sugested that we have to consult a tmj specialist about the headache my wife is experiencing...

Ayun na nga may tmj disorder daw siya(3 xray done) need to wear a splint to correct, cost is 15K daw and 1K for monthly visit..

Need your inputs..TIA

I was also diagnosed by my dentist having this disorder recently thru 3 sets of dental xray done to me. Plus they wanted to remove my 3rd morals( upper and lower coz its starting to touch the inner skin. Honestly, im not convinced at all. Sorry for fellow tsikotweers here na dentist, parang pineperahan lang dating sa akin. I asked for a second opinion from my cardio doctor and yun nga stiffness of my muscles from neck to upper body is the causing my headache and it has nothing to do with any dental issues. Im currently undergoing physical therapy and im much much better now.

sir anong klasing therapy ang ina undergo mo? actually sir may dating issue rin ang wife ko sa spine early signs yata ng scoliosis nag udergo rin siya ng theraphy for several weeks and eventually ini-stop din namin...

sir is your dentist a ortho dentist or a ortho dentist specializing in TMJ(a TMJ specialist)? totally different field yata yung dalawa sir...

actually sir nabangit din ng nakausap namin na TMJ problem correction can also correct scoliosis problem(certain degree lang ang kaya) and also some people daw na nakakaexperience ng pang hihina ng pandinig(bubble burst in the ears symptom) can also sometimes be solve with a TMJ problem correction...

eto para na akong sirang plaka d2 sa tsikot. My wife had that spine disorder scoliosis diagnosed even b4 we were married. Kung Ano Ano meds tinake nya. U know what when we stopped and she regularly exercised, after a year di namin namalayan Wala na sya naramdaman.

I had that occassional headache too maybe once a year dyan sa wisdom tooth na yan na painut init ang tubo. , pag masakit I just perspire heavily and regularly.

a decade before I was hospitalized regularly for my alcoholic addiction. To the point na intravenous drugskept my ailing liver alive. Sabi ng tabatsoy kong doctor, baka may tama na liver ko. I even urinated blood na nga eh

now pinaexecutive kami magasawa ng dad ko kse daw puros gym atupag namin. You know what, athlete's heart rate kmi. The doctors in Medical city observed us while we took the results. Bibihira daw ang taong ka tulad namin ngaun na may resultang ganun.

So Malamang liver ko ok na din.

Exercise is the key. I don't even take in vitamins kahit among letter pa. At times of colds, I limit my intake of paracetamol.

Those doctors tignan nyo muna Kung mataba, chances are peperahan din kayo nyan coz sedentary lifestyle din yan mga yan eh

Im undergoing accupressure therapy rght now. Headaches are generally associated with scolio talaga. Since nerves tends to tighten up due to scolio. Same thing with my older sister(underwent 2 major operation due to her scolio problem, weekly we used to go to intercare for some cairo sessions but the relief is on temporary basis only. In my case, due to stress and tigthness of muscles thats the cause of my discomfort. I forgot the name of my dentist, this is the one located at timog yun katabi niya yun shop selling imported mags for suv and pick up trucks. She is specialized sa TMJ and ortho. I never went back again sa kanya ever since i started my therapy. I can hook you up wuth my therapist pero a friendly warning though, masakit talaga yun therapy im undergoing pero the benifit is much rewarding.
