The hose clamp fits perfectly I just replaced it with a new hose drain which I bought from shopee but the gauge of the plastic is thin compared to the original samsung drain hose.

2 Daikin Units (1 year apart ang interval) binili ko from this store:

El Rei Airconditioning - Home | Facebook

Free installation up to 10 ft ng PVC at copper tube.
Maayos naman at malinis ang kabit. Hindi sila nag-iiwan ng kalat.
Yung first time na install nga pati basurang kahon at styro binitbit pa nila sa van nila pagkatapos ng installation.

So I could say na hindi sila shop na bigla na lang maglalaho at consistent ang customer service nila.

Sa aircon kasi may mga direct sellers that offer brand new units cheaper than appliance stores with free installation pa.
Baka sa washing machines may ganun din.
Nakatyempo ng sale sa Abenson. Bought it online. Free delivery yung unit na 8.0 kg Panasonic top loading non-inverter.

Top loading kasi mahirap para sa min ang pagyuko/pag-squat para kuhanin ang mga damit plus sa garahe ang washing machine so we might end up sweeping some dust with the newly washed clothes if it's unloaded from the front.

3k cheaper than the inverter model.

So far so good. I'm expecting savings sa tubig and maybe some sa electricity. First automatic washer and wifey's happy with it.

I've observed the installation process and it's way beyond my household technician/handyman skills, haha.

Front loaders are the ones that uses less water, laundry soap, and electricity compared to top loaders with the same capacity.

Yes. Shortest route. Wala naman ibang paglalagyan sa bahay namin. At dahil may nakaabang naman na receptacle (with its owm breaker) ang bedrooms namin for a window-type aircon, hindi na rin kinailangan ng additional circuit breaker.

Yup, I'm aware of that as I follow the other washing machine threads. But it's uncomfortable for us to bend down (bad knees) to get the laundry out of the washer. We can still save some sa water kasi pag conventional machine wash there's always the tendency na maiwan ang running water while filling up the wash bin. At least this washer measures the right water to laundry ratio.

    Sayang.

Front loaders can be mounted on pedestals or even a counter so you don't have to bend down. The pedestal can be easily fabricated. It just needs to be sturdy.

Top loaders, you still need to lean over to pick up laundry from the bottom of the tub.

Baby steps muna coming from a conventional twin tub WS, hehe. Our washer area sits under a window so no-go sa pedestal. Maybe next time when we have a dedicated wash room.

Initial plan ko nga talaga combo wash and dry na front loader. Wala eh, biglang nag-deteriorate ang old washer namin starting with the knobs and spinner na bumabagal.

Sudden expense kaya make do with what's there.

At double the price, I doubt you can recover the savings from water, soap and electricity before the unit conks out. Especially the soap, there's no accurate info on how much soap on a per brand and type to put in a top vs a front loader. In short, kanya kanya tayong takal kung gano kadami ilalagay regardless of the brand and make of washmac.

Yes, but not everyone has a pedestal ready, or much more a counter available, haven't seen a counter that has no clutter above it, and haven't seen a single house design on the internet with a washmac placed atop a counter. Not against front loaders because I did want to own one, but it just wasn't economically practical for us.

Pedestals can be fabricated after the fact. But I get your argument.... you want something that can be used, out of the box.

I don't know what kind of laundry soap you use, but they are expensive, even in bulk. Water, too. The bulk of our water bill is from using our top-load LG washer that serves 4 families.

There's a calculator available online and based on my doodling, I think the ROI tipping point is anywhere between 1 to 3 years, and largely dependent on how many loads you typically do in a given time.

Less electricity, 1/2 on average savings on water and detergent x 10-15 loads a week (for us).... it all adds up.
