yung yosi sa pinas, iba iba nakalagay na text. smoking kills addictive etc. since im a smoker, hindi talaga effective yung text nor yung pictures since im already hooked. siguro sa mga bata na nagiisip magsubok magyosi, there might be a probability na they would think twice and not go though with it.

The pictures, as said by archie is not useful on hooked smokers like him. For sure before they go into the habit, they already knew the consequences they might face. For kids [ yes, kids ] it might be effective as most of them are doing it just to have that cool image & when they see that specific yucky image pasted on the cigarette pack probably they'll realize that it's not so cool after all.

One thing to do if they would really want to lessen the smokers is to impose a huge amount of tax on it & probably ending up with a 200/pack price. That of course will hinder addicts/newbies in buying as spending a bountiful amount of money on futile things such as cigars is no joke.

i level kaya nila ang price sa mary jane para may competition. hehehe. sa una lang yan, pag naramdaman na ng bulsa at pamilya ang impact sa finances nila ng yosi mag hahanap na ng paraan yan. ano nga ba kasi ang pagkakaiba nito sa cannabis? at least yung cannabis magagamit as alternative medicine. yung tobacco yata ni isa wala.

pagtinaasan yung price, IMO magiging social symbol na yosi. mawawala yung mga lower class income na magyosi but then sa tingin ko, yung may mga kaya, or nagfefeeling na may kaya, magyoyosi na. may pros and cons any action gawin.

di ba social symbol na ito ngayun pa lang. symbol of being cool sa una at sa kinalaunan na-addict at di na maalis sa katawan. lahat ng kakilala na first time nagtry mag yosi is dahil cool sya tignan at hindi dahil sa high na naibibigay nito.

most educated smokers know its negative effects in our health but they still smoke reasoning that we will all die, whether you are a smoker or not. tama di naman di ba? there are many ways to die and iba't-ibang klase ng sakit ang tumatama sa tao which can cause death. Di lang naman sa smoking nakukuha, kundi sa pagkain and environment. Just imagine a case of a 30 year old female lawyer who died because of lung cancer, e di naman sya smoker. Honestly, I am a smoker and already addicted with that habit. Even though I know that it is bad to my health, i still smoke and enjoy the psychological comfort/satisfaction that it gives me. Anyway, di naman ako magiging immortal if I quit smoking. hehe! Peace!
