Tried googling your name on Google search?

This is so basic but I just tried it today, if your name is too usual, like John, or Santos, try adding in your work, school or any affiliation. Dang, for me I find it very creepy seeing my information especially the images. We're not even celebrities. Tsk.

Linkedin will display your photo though. So i removed mine.

No information for me except for the company where I'm employed. No pictures at all, I was expecting that I'll see it in my wife's Facebook. Even with PRC, I didn't see my name. I didn't search thoroughly but at least, it's not readily available.

I included my middle initial because the first time I tried it, I saw one in Facebook.

I'm very paranoid about this ever since, kaya I always google my name. Unfortunately may lumabas sakin that isn't my fault.

even before there was internet my family name already fills up several pages of the pldt phone book. i think only the cruzes and reyeses outnumber us.

anyway my name, middle innitial included, appears many times in google. none if it is me. karamihan sa kanila from south and central america. even that drug trafficker with the same birthday that caused a long delay in my US visa renewal is still there.

I used to read the yellow pages (businesses) before. Man I remember still looking for car shops via that. 😂

That is the advantage of having a common surname. You would be hard to stalk because there are just too many search hits.

My surname is very uncommon kaya kahit sa PLDT yellow pages we chose not to have our number listed.
