*******IAL rain led to flash floods occurring in the Orchard Road area yesterday.
A few millions of dollars went down the drain after luxury super cars were damaged after being submerged in the basement 3 carpark of St Regis Residences at Tanglin Road.
The trail of carnage didn't stop there - Tanglin Mall experienced a 'waterfall' as a ceiling collapsed and goods were destroyed.

It happens even in one of the better places in Asia.....
Must be the sea wall they're building/built....

BTW, the pictures with the cars... you can see how high the flood water was if you look at the nearby wall or pillar. Given that, the water only reached to the middle of the wheels. I don't think that is enough to cause any major issues with the cars itself aside from getting the carpet wet with dirty flood water.
personally, i'd think thrice, before buying that toyota brand new rack and pinion, to fix my 2003...
