selling a very very old car...

how does one go about selling a very very old car? '89 Corolla XL po, still runs well, one click start, but the exterior is pretty much kaput.

Do i:

1.) post an ad in buy & sell?
2.) approach a shop selling 2nd hand cars? Though doubtful kung me kukuha, the exterior is pretty bad
3.) go to an auto surplus shop?
4.) patimbang ko sa junk shop?


Gusto ko sana ung madalian, and i'm not really expecting to get much from it. tia

A friend of mine was also contemplating this scenario last year, it was a corolla dx whose engine was okay, but di na kayang ma restore ang kaha. He initially approached a few buyers but the price was only P30k, and they wanted my friend to fix a few things in the car prior to their acceptance. He then approached a junk shop, in short pina kilo, and the price for all the bakal thingies was around P28k. Dun na lang nya binenta.

Post it online. Price is lower than the usual, mga 50K dapat siguro.

Or, kung medyo atat ka na. Pakilo mo nalang, yung engine kung pwede benta mo separately.

hmm...mas prefer ko sana was ichop chop...kahit papano me pinagsamahan na rin kami ng kotseng yan (naks)...

then again, kung lalaspagin lang, same story imho. *sigh*, being sentimental is such a drag :p

i'll try to post some pics later...rust is pretty bad in some places, and sa right side me portion na nagcacrack n peel na ung paint. i'm not inclined to fix it up or anything, as is, where is basis kumbaga.

Heto yung 1989 small body toyota corolla. Yun sa akin nabenta ko pa nang 65k may kalawang na ang kaha sa may rear fender, suspension need to be replaced, clutch repalcement, faded white paint. Kaya nung nabenta ginamit kong pang down sa bagong car namin.

May mga buyer na ko. Ang problema ko na lang yung steps in selling the car.

Yung pag notarize ng deed of sale, payment, transfers etc. Naisip ko rin baka mas kikita pa ko if I sell it as junk kasi binabarat ako.

kung pagagawa pa nung buyer yung body at engine, baka mas maigi pa, bumili na lang ng 2nd hand in good running condition.
bakal na lang talaga pwede dyan. di na pala umaandar yung makina.

1st. magkita kayo kayo sa bank of your choice.
2nd. Make Them deposit the amount in your account.
3rd. Pag na deposit na pirmahan mo yung deed of sale
4th. then ask for 2 deed of sale na may pirma nung buyer plus 2 photocopy of valid ID(Itago mo just in case)
5th. Bigay mo Susi, OR, CR and other Docs...
