take it easy on us believers too.

you need an xray to see your brain.

you need FAITH to see OUR God.

see what i mean?xrays are so human. Faith is so divine. both will never meet unless human has faith.in short, you will never understand whatever explanation we give you.

i know what im saying...for believe it or not, i was once AN ATHEIST TOO.A *STRONG ATHEIST AT THAT.

i was close to being a satanist myself. and so i have an idea how one thinks.
i have a very good idea of what you mean..i dig that. i had questions before like yours...even more.the atheist group that i had taught me things i never thought would be possible to think.

but as ive said...all your questions will never be answered.all your requests for explanations will never be satisfied.why? Coz in the first place, you don't have FAITH.and you need it to understand what us believers will tell you.

God was never really in philosophical arguments, or in empirical data and deductive reasoning. If people would think that they would be convinced of God's existence through some unmistakeable, palpable evidence, then maybe, their not looking for God at all, but for some sort of validation for their own discoveries, their own perception of how this universe works. Their personal 'eureka!', if you may, a shout to the world that they have figured out the intricacies of this life, and therefore, the concept of God is no longer necessary to fill in the gaps that were unknown before. And if this works for them, then so be it. It should not be a point of conflict, unless of course, it unsettles them in some way that they need other people to validate their point of view. So why such hesitation? Because even if the human race has achieved considerable progress in understanding everything from bacteria to whales and elephants, it would still be arrogant to say that we understand even just 1/100th of the universe. And certainly, i personally find it irresponsible to look for God among electrons, muons or glaciers, or asteroids or blackholes, and then blame Him for allowing evil to come upon this earth. If one chooses to inflict misery upon his brother, would one expect God to come down from the heavens to stay his hand everytime?

So maybe, it is a most essential first step to qualify what one is really looking for.

let's clear things up bro... you said you we're a strong atheist and was close to being a satanist? How is that possible?

Oh well, if you chose to invoke faith and not interested in finding out the whys then we have nothing to learn from each other.

    i was a strong atheist.

then i was not contented so i began studying satanism.

thats my point, sir. God is beyond the why's...the what's..the how's...the when's...the where's.thats why you will never understand.because you are confined to these questions. He is beyond that sir.and we have NO WAY of knowing.

He cannot be asked why, where, when, what and how...not because He cannot answer that. But because we, human beings, do not have the capacity to completely understand the answer.why?because we are just human beings.

having said that...yes.it seems that we do not have anything to learn from each other.

Well now, if you knew that your kid (pls don't be offended and am knocking on wood) would've been the one raped and killed, but was saved cuz it happened to the other girl... What say you sir?

I've seen it happen, only the crime was kidnapping - mistaken identity.

Well no, cuz He did create the rest of us to jail those rapists... or better yet, blow their heads off.

Hehe, janitor, that's pretty good. But, yeah, I think God is humble enough to let us mess around with His creation (including the 2nd most beautiful: little girls) and then clean up after us a$$holes (you have to admit that we're not doing the Earth much good these days...).

if you are a believer...have faith be firm on it, let your heart be your guide, there are endless inquiry and debatable matters but "you dont question God" if simple answer didnt suffice you, then let time pass and you'll be able to realize the magnanimity of God, as answers are layed upon you=)

just believe with your heart and your soul=)

Remember that there are only 5 senses available to the human being. In fact, what isn't there to us maybe there for a tiger or a shark. Actually, many scientific discoveries are made by looking for things that don't seem to be there.

You are arguing that the existence of God cannot be proven by the scientific method. True. And believers in this forum have admitted to some manner of being illogical, believing in a myth, myself included. So along that line of argument, you are right. So that's the end of the argument.

Not everything in the Bible is true...
