I have a micro sim right now (non-LTE). i want to have it converted by Globe into a nano sim while retaining my number. Having compared the speed of 4g vs 3g, i'm wondering if magiging LTE na ba nun yung sim ko, kase kung hinde, I'd rather buy a new nano LTE sim. Any idea?

yup, pwede yan... punta ka lang sa any globe outlet..... bayad 50.00 and they will change your SIM and retaining your number.

ang tanong yata ng TS yung network kung mag papalit from 3g to LTE.. pero yung sim conversion diba may may crimp lang sila para ma cut yon?

Kung pre paid not sure pero kung post paid wala siguro problema they can replace your sim with same number

nope.... there are simcards which are for 3G only and there are cards that are up to LTE. so if your simcard is limited for 3G and you want to use it in a LTE phone, the maximum you can get is a 3G connection.

yes sir, ang concern ko ay if LTE-capability is sim dependent or number dependent. Im wondering if my old micro sim, if converted by Globe to nano, will inherit the capability of LTE. I'll try to visit a Globe center this weekend.

Globe should give it to you for free. New sims now are 3-in-1 already. You only need to cut out the correct size for your phone.

AFAIK, ang Sun ay wala pa atang LTE, correct me if I'm wrong ah..

    its SIM dependent.
in the case of Sun, its either their network is not LTE capable or corporate strategy nila na pag kailangan mo ng LTE, sa Smart ka since they were bought naman by Smart....

Sa globe libre palit ng sim ko for my postpaid sim... Mabilis pa nalipat. Sa smart i decided to just have it cut dahil sa haba ng pila

Dapat ang phone is LTE capable and the sim is LTE compatible.
