    ok lang yan para atleast makakatulong sa pagsugpo sa mga krimen...unless may tinatago ka diba or human rights activist ka. bakit nga ba mas maraming rights ang suspect kaysa victim?

    bakit di na lang tayo magkuhanan lahat ng pictures . . . pati mga police, mmda, mayor, governor, congressman, government official, etc. . . .etc.

    Ok lang naman yan... at least deterrent sa crime and madali mag pinpoint ng mga suspect.

    Ok lang siguro if:

    1. a law or ordinance is passed to that effect;
    2. it is passive in nature and doesn't target or profile certain groups;
    3. its use is strictly limited for purposes of identifying a suspect involved in a crime committed; and
    4. proper conspicuous notices are posted making passengers or pedestrians aware that their picture or image may be taken so long as they are within the jurisdiction of the municipality or city.

    Mag pass sila ng ordinace kung gusto nilang black and white.
    Now kung gusto nila ipilit ang pakulo nila hindi dapat mga tambay
    lang ang kunan nila ng litrato kundi lahat ng mga residente.

    Unfair din yun pareng boeing. Daanin nila sa legal na pagpasa ng ordinace.
    That way walang magre-reklamo.

    Bro XTO .kahit cguro maging city ordinance ito ang nakikita ko problema dito ay baka "nagkamali" ng turo ang victim sa picture .dampot ka agad. eh di laking abala non

    pero kung tutuo naman cguro OK din kasi madali naman mahanap agad
    .wag lang nakapagtago na sa bundok baka matagalan pa hanapin

    Actually, ok naman yung ganyan. Kaya lang naman umaangal ang mga human rights activist ay dahil sa kawalan ng tiwala. Masyadong maraming corrupt na officials at mga tagasunod nila, na hindi natin malalaman kung saang kalokohan nila gagamitin ito.

    On the other hand, since questionable nga ang mga taong ito, sasabihin lang ng suspect ay na frame up lang siya, so ngayon hindi natin alam kung sino ang totoong na frame up at kung sino ang totoong guilty. Kahit paimbestigahan, hindi din natin alam kung hindi biased ang nag iimbestiga.

    Trust, credibility, efficiency... kailan kaya ma-a-achieve ito?

    It's a somewhat halfway good idea. Only possible problem is if the victim IDs the wrong person... highly likely if you're sifting through hundreds of photographs after such a stressful experience.

    Would work for cellphone snatchings and hold-ups, but only on a limited basis.

    But they really should pass a city ordinance. Surveillance within their jurisdicition is only justifiable if you inform the people being photographed/video'd that surveillance is taking place. Then, they'll have the choice of whether they want to walk in San Juan or not.

    If there is no official ordinance, it may be construed as harrassment or infringement of civil liberties. Private institutions have internal surveillance because it is their right, and people who are uncomfortable with it have the choice not to go inside. If surveillance occurs in public, the public should be notified of such.

    At least it'll keep the o-gags off the street.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Makatarungan ba ito?
