My betting days are over for now, wait ulit for higher pot like 300M above. E-Lotto, easy to bet, easy to lose money [emoji30]screenshot_2024-01-18-13-10-38-265_com.pcso.elotto.jpg

Malimit ako tumaya dati sa Lotto, my brother and I we even have lots of Excel files with previous winning combinations in trying to predict some patterns. I've had some success with 4-digits, pero small wins lang, and then I eventually stopped.

    well,
if the choosing of the winning number is as random as can be,
i will daresay say, there ain't no such thing as a winning pattern.
    walang so-called "weighed roulette wheel".
    heh heh.

but i still do place bets once in a while,
to help support our government's fundraising activities.

this is how i understand it.
the certainty that someone will win, is a certainty. 100%.
but the chances of winning become astronomically small, because we have a specific name in mind, that will win it.

    sa mga nagtatankang mag-imbestiga,
i shall paraphrase the late dr. flavier.
    "just doh it!"

Not per draw. In 6/55 if the Jackpot reaches more than P580M, you will win 100%, albeit a small amount, if you spend P579,793,500.00 [(28,989,675, the odds of winning at 6/55 lotto) x P20].

AND the chances of winning "is", and not "become", astronomically small.

Parang napanuod ko ito dati, just can't remember kung true story ba or fiction lang, what I remember is they were beating the clock betting on all the possibilities, di ko na rin maalala ano nangyari, ang problem dito is paano if you have to split it with another winner [emoji12]

    i agree. you win.
    but,
what if someone chose a lucky pick and also got the winning combination? eh, 'di lugi na tayo nang 290 million...
or, what if someones made the requisite calculations as you did, and bought the requisite tickets, exactly what you did? lugi na rin tayo ng at least 290 million...
it was already discussed some time ago, by a numbers person (math prof?). his warning was something like, "yes, you can compute the threshhold amount, but so can others. and i am not the only math major in the city in need of money."
"if you can think about it, so can others."
    tama si papi.

    some time ago,
there were 433 winners in one lotto event.
the lotto folks were being questioned about this, because having 433 winners is literally too good to be true. but upon investigation,
it turned out, all the winning bettors were betting on a particular combination that had a basis. the numbers were not random, but were based on certain features that all the winners were using. in this instance, i recall, the winning numbers were multiples of 9 .
bottomline, if there is a basis for one's choice of numbers, do not assume that you are the only bettor using that basis.

yup, if the jackpot is high, expect the number crunchers to take notice!

but what do you think your chances are, of winning the big one?
personally for me, i make taya because i have the money to burn. i do not really expect to win. "libangan lang", 'ika nila.

some folks like to reap where they did not sow.
nothing wrong with that; it's human nature. we even have a nice name for it: "hulog nang langit".
but if one habitually wipes it in everyone's faces...
this guy (gal?) actually takes pains to be abrasive in his/her posts.
