honestly, if you have 50M in cash (from questionable sources)

its easier to just declare that the funds came from gambling winnings. for sure may "bank relationship officer" ka which should help you make things easier.

Nung 90's. yung father ng ex GF ko lost their 4 cars sa derby (sabong)

A week later, using the title of their house and lot... he went home with 4 new cars, 2 of them are MBs

ang nasa isip ko corrupt gov't people and drug lords

    puro cash yan

they need a way to wash their money para ipasok sa banking system without too many questions

though it's relatively easy to launder money in PH compared to other countries (kaya madalas ma-blacklist ang pinas)

I've seen people pay for their cars in cash. Di manlang sila tinanong ng dealers kung saan galing yung pera.

pero I now understand that your talking about people na di nauubusan ng pera still easier to just keep the money in a safe than to have it laundered with a fee.

if you're being delivered duffle bags of cash everyday you'll quickly run out of places in your house to store the cash

kaya need ipasok sa banking system

    banks will ask that question.

pero as I mentioned earlier... yung first car ko in college was bought by a man with a backpack na puno ng 20peso bills. halos whole day binilang ng bank yung pera

mahirap kausap local banking system natin... hirap ipasok ng pera, hirap din ilabas

If were talking about large amounts of cash, I (personally) would use a foreign banking system (easier to transact plus better online limits)

and yes, you can travel borders without declaring the cash... siguraduhin mo lang na di ka mahuhuli

Yes, banks do, probably because they are mandated by AMLA to put a reason for certain amounts. I just say I disposed of an asset and they never ask any details as to what kind of asset. It's just procedure I guess.

kung nasa pinas ka and your cash is shady and you wanna get your money out of the country, you first need to get your money into the PH banking system, then buy foreign currency at your PH bank and transfer it to your foreign bank account

    get thru that hurdle

or you use your shady cash to buy hundred dollar bills (parang ka money changer pero underground)

after accumulating tons of hundred dollar bills you still need to get it out of the country... problema parin

kaya need nga ipasok ung shady money sa banking system para mas madali ihandle

but you need to get that dirty PHP cash into the "foreign banking system" which is even stricter

PHP --> foreign currency --> foreign bank

May certain amount na automatically triggered ang AMLC by the banking system. Same sa casinos.

    For covered transactions, more than P500K;
    For suspicious transactions, walang limit.

may tumama na sa 6/58.. 100M.. sarap!

80M na lang pala.. may tax na nga pala..

As provided in the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) law, lotto winnings of more than PHP10,000 shall be subject to a 20-percent final tax. Once the jackpot is claimed by the winner, it would be less than 20 percent.

    to guarantee the win,
one would have to spend 350 milling bucks, betting on every possible combination, to win the 300 milling grand prize.
and if someone gets the same idea, one's winnings would be slashed to only 150 milling simoleons.
