nope...it means that your phone didnt read your sim. what you can do to check if its the unit or sim is to place another sim in your phone, if the other sim works on your phone, then its the sim that's busted..have it replaced.

if unit are network blocked, and you place a sim that is different from it's intended sim, it will ask for a network code...try also cleaning the sim and the contact of your phone, or wiggle it a bit, sometimes the contacts are not in place.

Just like all Samsung phones...they don't accept 128k and up sim cards. BAD TRIP!
