Scam emails like that work on personal greed.
You can reply to it to see what response you will get from them. Just like fish biting on a baited hook. "They" might even fly over here to meet you personally to give you confidence. But the moment you ask for hard documentation as proof, they vanish into the internet backwaters.

"The best way to deal with spam is to block it before it gets to your Inbox. A good first line of defense is a spam filter at your Internet gateway or at your e-mail server. Even with filters in place there, however, it's still a great idea to use the Outlook spam-blocking filters to help keep your Inbox uncluttered."

Personally, I just ignore them. Kung wala naman akong magawa sa extra time ko e nagre-reply ako. The moment na humingi sila ng personal/secured infos about me, that's goodbye. Or do a reverse psychology like what Ghosthunter said. Sila mismo ang iiwas.
