    At least six people have been killed after a series of horrific accidents on the Abu Dhabi-Dubai highway near Ghantoot on Tuesday morning.

    Police have said around 200 cars were involved in the crash, which happened in heavy fog, with 25 cars catching fire.

    Since may thread na rin to, additional photos po from the accident. This happens around 30kms away from where I am right now.

    It so sad to hear this news, all the people in UAE were shocked.

    pero talagang madami daw talaga reckless mag maneho dun kasi libreng libre ang daan at magaganda pa...+ disposable daw treatment nila sa mga sasakyan

    yun nga rin wento ng mga kaibigan ko sa ME. kaya dapat malaki sasakyan mo dahil kung magmaneho ang karamihan eh parang wala ng bukas.

    did people not have the sense to drive carefully in heavy fog? don't want to assume anything but...200 cars?

    sabi nga po nila dito sa UAE kapag may driver license na eh may "license to die & license to kill" ka na dahil sa sobrang reckless dw po ng karamihan ng mga drivers..

    I guess they're not used to seeing dense fog there at the UAE.

    I've seen several close calls in northern California and Germany. Good thing most drivers at both places have enough common sense to slow down.

    I read the readers' comments on that link. I can't believe after all that's happened, some readers still tried to justify speeding in dense fog. Tsk Tsk Tsk.

    i've read the comments on that gulfnews article ...

    since we don't get that much fog over here ... i don't understand why it is dangerous to turn ON your car's HAZARD lights when it is foggy .

    can someone enlighten this foggy brain of mine ?

    Ganyan din dito sa Saudi. Napaka-reckless mag drive ng mga Arabo. Kaya yung mga kapwa ko OFWs, ingat lang po. Mga ogags ang mga ito sa kalsada.
