    I just want to say that i'm happy to see that the government is finally rehabilitating EDSA. At least mafefeel ko kung san napupunta yun tax natin since i pass by EDSA every day. Alam ko na kung saan yun mga butas and even the damn waterfall under the shaw underpass. They started this last year but then they stop for some reason. Ok din na sa gabi nila sinisimulan ng Friday so by Monday ok na. Sana lang grind nila yun mga asphalt overlay na nakabukol. To DPWH, good job!!!

    hayyy...finally i see taxes at work.

    sana naman they address that shaw underpass waterfall...and that bad portion near edsa-buendia SB.

    napapabilis sira ng suspension mo kung araw-araw ka sa edsa.

    Let's just hope that whatever repairs that are done, don't have to be repeated a year from now...

    seems that you haven't passed along C5 lately. two gargantuan flyovers were constructed (Katipunan-Marikina & Ortigas-C5) to relieve bottlenecks.

    my travel time from a few year ago is 1.5 hours along EDSA & NLEX. now it is down to 40 minutes.

    ===

    natapos na rin ng MMDA boys ang 1 lane widening along Munoz.

    IIRC this on-going rehab was initiated by Bayani Fernando/MMDA, it's an MMDA project, not DPWH's

    Bayani for president! hehe. Warning lang, yun waterfall sa shaw underpass lumipat sa kaliwang side, buti na lang nakita ko kanina. bad trip nga din yun lubak dun sa may edsa buendia. Sana nga tuluyan na nilang ayusin yun buong edsa and hindi yun may ititira pang butas.

    ok talaga yang mga repairs sa EDSA, Its about time!

    Sana lang inform nila mga tao what part of EDSA ang gagawin pag weekend. Para makaiwas tayo and use alternate routes. Pansin ko rin na walang warning devices ang mga road works kaya ingat lang sa EDSA.

    FYI... may nagawang new improvement na sa may Munoz... PUV loading/unloading stations... similar to those found in West Ave (southbound).

    medyo na decongest na kagabi ang traffic sa may Munoz dahil dito (since PUVs cannot load/unload passengers if they deviate from the yellow lane).

    right now... Boni (southbound), Santolan flyover & SM West (northbound) na lang talaga ang bottlenecks...

    Ang problema naman after munoz is yun congressional, ginawa kasing unloading and loading zone yun sa baba ng overpass kaya yun 3 lanes naging isa na lang. Dami pa naman pulis dun walang kwenta. Yun sa Shaw minsan meron minsan wala nga, bake diepende kung may naliligo sa taas.

    Doon naman sa Guadalupe bridge----free rainshower whenever an MRT Train passes overhead. Kainis din.

    What causes that? Why would an MRT Train spray water?

    Parallel highway Edsa and C-5 will only improve the slow flow of traffic in metro manila but it will not solve the main problem ..TRAFFIC. Bakit? palpak ang design ng urban planning ng government. IMO it should be elliptical highway with exits like in beijing. sa edsa and c-5 point to point lang dead end sa dulo. Iba talaga ang pinoy..
