we also have one at home, and the battery is also dead. i asked my son to buy a replacement battery in the mall,
    "1500 bucks!"
"bili na lang tayo nang bagong wireless!"

i'll try my luck later, in my old haunts.

Fine print on left panel reads: “Pinaliit namin ang nutrition facts para hindi mo mabasa… Hindi ito importante. Ang importante, masaya ka.” [emoji23]

wala na ngang old-style nickel hydride batteries!
i ended up buying an up-to-date AEG wireless model. it was the largest handset in the store, para hindi ma-i-uwi nang worker na parang nokia cellphone.
    1899 pesos.

they go around the workplace with the handset in their pockets, para kapag mag-ring, sagot nila agad, wherever they are in our multiloculated workplace.
upon quitting time, they sometimes forget it's in their pockets, because it's so small.
it's non-functional in their abode naman, because the marster is in the workplace.

Ot: reminds me of the setup in a bank's compound in ortigas - they have their own wireless setup for their extension numbers.

    "what!"
"it's not that expensive, and they'll remember you the first time their house bulb conks out."
having a peep at their haus to see what light fixtures they have, will give you ideas of what the set should include.

    i agree.
ordinary house hold items that are not traditionally seen as wedding gift materiel.

how many times have we lamented, "... if only we had ...!"

... nagparinig ako kay wifey... kombi lego or porsche lego... no dice. "deaf as a doornail!"
    heh heh.
