may benefit ba talagang mabibigay ito? o dagdag gastos lang? i'm thinking of enrolling my kid. pero medyo patong talaga sa monthly budget namin ang P1k++ na monthly fee.

Worth it! Pero only if you enroll kid for at least 2 years. My daughter mataas ang grade sa math and reading.
Kumon method is nothing but the old style of teaching(long lost in the new system) of "practice makes perfect".
For those old enough, the Korean basketball great, Shing Dong Pa was asked why he was so good in shooting the ball from long range. Simple answer--he shot a thousand baskets a day!
Yes, its worth every damn centavo even if it means scrimping
on some other things...
Four years na panganay ko sa Kumon. He's now in Grade 3
By next month, he'll be starting on the Algebra module.
I also enrolled him sa Kumon reading. Grade 2 pa lang siya,
natapos na niya lahat nung Harry Potter books even the thick
one (the latest one)). Ngayon, he's reading the works of JRR Tolkien.
He's no. 1 in his class with no grade below 94.
He's been disciplined by Kumon to study on his own...
All of these, I thank the Kumon method.
P 1,000 + a month is peanuts compared to all the benefits
he'll derive from it. Basta non-stop lang ang pag-attend niya.
Tuloy-tuloy dapat even during summer vacations..
Yes.

This year ipapasok ko sya ng math.
My mom has a Kumon Center in Greenhills and my sister has 2, Kapitolyo Pasig and Village East Cainta (plugging lang po). It really helps but it has to be in the long term. Without being too technical, it helps the child to concentrate and develop the capacity of the mind to calculate math problems. Also practice, practice, practice. Also the child gets a diagnostic test to see ano yung math level niya so she can start at his/her most cmfortable level. They also have Kumon Reading. My niece, Julia, 5 years old can do match problems ng Grade 3 and can read books already.![]()
yeah.
practice makes perfect..
ok yung mga materials na gamit dyan..
sulit yung P1+++ mo dyan..
why dont u get a personal tutor instead, im teaching a Grade5 student from lsgh, he used to have very low grades in all his subjects, daming notice of low score in exams na narereceive ang parents nya, but since ive became his tutor, his getting better grades now, tinututokan kc namin, tho we r being paid per hour i only leave their house if he understand the lessons, mahal na nga ko sobra ng mom nya.hehehe sulit daw P250/hour kc usually umaabot akong 2-3 hous para lang intinding-intindi nya lessons. Magpuput-up na nga kami ng friends ko ng tutorial center here in qc for the summer
how young should a child be para pwede magqualify for enrollment? kailangan ba nag start na yung bata ng formal schooling?
1500/month.. tapos bukod pa yung daily tutor na 100/hr after or before their class..
