not just words but anything na iba ang meaning pag dating dito, and mga funny anecdotes na dito lang makikita, yun "only in the Phils" eh more on the funny, "positive" sides...ok?

    • hotdog-we are the only one with red hotdogs.
flashing of headlights-means I'm coming through..
salvage-means summary executed to us. but real meaning "to save"
undergraduate-for us it means "drop out", "out of school" but real meaning is still studying pero hinde pa graduate.

Only in the Philippines can people have a legitimate and intelligible conversation using only one phoneme.

Scene: Elevator lobby. Two guys waiting for the door to open. When the door opens, one sees the operator inside.

    Man (to operator): Bababa ba?
    Operator: Bababa.
Man (looks to his companion): 'ba, bababa!
Companion (shoving the first guy in): Baba! Baba!

Brownout is not Filipinism. This term is used in other parts of the world. But yes, most Pinoy's don't know the difference between the two.

Pag Biglang Yaman, nagpapayabang agad ng gamit. Pati presyo, binabanggit.

Notice the bags "conveniently" displayed at the back of Aling Dionisia. Jeez.

She still looks Losyang and Ugly.
