Part of the new tradition in our neighborhood is after the putukan, where the street litter with all the debris, especially the fired 10,000 rounds sawa, everybody participate in cleaning up the street before going inside their respective homes for the media noche.
Kaya sa umaga, pag gising mo, malinis na ang kalye.
This we have been doing since about 4 years ago when we also self-imposed a ban on burning rubber tires at our neighborhood during the new year's eve celebration.

Not much trash on our street. Most our neighbors left town because of the noise and smog I guess...

Haven't played with fireworks for more than 2 decades now.
It's nonsense anyway and it presents a very high risk to one's health... and limbs.

and yes we know that of all the occupants of this earth, the humans are the only ones polluting her despite the fact that humans are supposedly the most intelligent living creatures

I like this new ncrpo chief. Inasar yung mga nagpapaputok. Maayos sense of humour.
At the expense of rear cargo space. The floor is raised around 8inches for the batteries.
