that's why I don't buy na yun mga classic fireworks, (pla-pla, kwitis etc), masyadong makalat. I remember I used to have a finale of 10,000 rounds na judas belt or was it sawa.

Part of the new tradition in our neighborhood is after the putukan, where the street litter with all the debris, especially the fired 10,000 rounds sawa, everybody participate in cleaning up the street before going inside their respective homes for the media noche.

This we have been doing since about 4 years ago when we also self-imposed a ban on burning rubber tires at our neighborhood during the new year's eve celebration.

Not much trash on our street. Most our neighbors left town because of the noise and smog I guess...

Haven't played with fireworks for more than 2 decades now. It's nonsense anyway and it presents a very high risk to one's health... and limbs.

and yes we know that of all the occupants of this earth, the humans are the only ones polluting her despite the fact that humans are supposedly the most intelligent living creatures

And I agree.

I like this new ncrpo chief. Inasar yung mga nagpapaputok. Maayos sense of humour.
