    i was leaving for work today and noticed an unsual amount of people which seems stranded and noticed a few or no jeepney at all plying the streets of pampanga. I asked a bystander and he said "Today is a National Transport Strike!!!" hmmmm??? i havent heard of this in the news last night and early this morning before i left... not even in local radio stations... NEWS BLACK OUT??? pwede ba yun? :freak: Are you guys aware of this?

    meron din akong nakitang mga nagstrike dito sa amin, pero mga 10 people lang sila. pinapa rollback ang fuel prices. dapat yata dun sila sa Saudi embassy mag strike.

    yan ang problema ng mga yan... reklamo nang reklamo pero wala sa lugar...

    hindi ba dati humingi sila ng oil deregularization? para may new players, etc.

    ngayon, gusto naman nila i regularize ulit ang oil industry. tapos, i subsidize daw ng gobyerno ang cost. hahaha!

    eh yung mga jeepney driver dito sa amin ang lalaki ng kinikita... 3 pasada lang daw eh halos mag 1K na ang kinita nila. eh magkano lang naman ang gasolina.

    hmm... considering diesel? mga 300p lang or less para sa 3 trips... 700Php... not bad.

    a one-way trip is around 12 km or 72 km.

    the fare is around P17.

    so their claim is quite true. plus that figure came out of a churchmate who's driving jeepneys for a living.

    and get this. a one-way trip might take only 30-45 minutes.

    cheaper than the Bus... grabe na yung bus fare ko... 50p going to Manila... sucks.

    plus nagmahalan na mga spare parts. di mo rin sila masisisi kaya lang parang wala rin mangyayari sa mga hinihingi nila.
