Double check ko lang po, sir.

Whenever I go to stores and ask for a particular item/size, ang unang sagot lagi ng sales people e "double check ko lang po, sir." Di ba sa first time dapat ang tama is "check ko lang po sir." And kung di makita yung item, and I insist on that particular size or item, dun palang sasabihin na "double check"?
