    Is there such a thing na "temporary" na ngipin for children? Kasi diba pag bata pa tayo at nawalan tayo ng ngipin, ibig sabihin nun eh may tutubo pa ulit.

    Paano natin malalaman kung may tutubo pa nga ulit? Kapag ba yung mga anak natin eh nde nawalan ng ngipin till 5 yrs old eh yun na yung magiging permanent teeth nya?

    Please enlighten me kung may nakakaalam sa inyo.

    TIA

    ang alam ko..twice in our lifetime lang tayo tinutubuan ng ngipin..yung babyteeth na tumutubo as early as 6months at at kusang nalalaglag pag patubo na permanent. At yung permanent nga.

    my kids..had perfect set of baby teeth til dumating yung time na ipabunot ko sa dentist to give way sa kanilang permanent..

    and now that theyre young adults..they have perfect sets of whites at talagang we make regular trips to the dentist.

    Theyre now wearing braces para mas maging perfect pa..

    Oic.

    and if we go beyond, baka puwede na natin gamitin to concept na'to to study regeneration of not only teeth, but wounds, and cut fingers/toes na din.
    my take on this one..... ruminant animals, eg, goats, sheep, cow, carabao, have teeth which "continously" grow throughout their lifetime. You might be thinking if their teeth continously grow in their lifetime, how come none of their teeth extend far out to their nostrils? Well, the chewing action when they eat grinds the teeth to a manageable size. Maybe,,, just maybe... some extra gifted scientist could isolate the genes responsible for this trait of the ruminant animal and then transpose/express it to humans.... possible kaya>? Then we won't have problems with missing tooth/teeth anymore for they would be constantly be replaced with new ones...

    can you imagine what you would look like if you've got those ruminant teeth and you forgot to chew on all teeth evenly hahahaha! paano kung naging habit mo na sa left side lang mag-nguya ng food? so yung right side teeth will grow and grow until your mouth distends to one side. or what if its the front teeth that you forget to grind down? we will al be looking like that actress-comediane what's her name the one with the protruding front teeth?

Or, it could bring added revenues to the dentists of the Phils. as they would have more patients to attend to! So either which side of the coin you place it, it still a win-win situation, Eto pa, because of the protruding set of teeth, people will find each other not attractive to one another anymore... suppresses the urge to procreate..... a "green/environmental" way of controlling the ever escalating Filipino population without the the use of chemicals or medical controls... he, he

    then there was 2 sets of teeth for us human, today we can even have another set of teeth with the advent of dental implants (by Dentista Co)

    temporary / deciduous / milk / baby teeth = has 20 counts

    permanent / succedaneous = 32 counts

    on some occasions or there would be supernumerary tooth or teeth present

    if the first and second sets were eventually removed due to improper maintenance, then another set could be made, that is dental implants

    from age 0 to 2 yrs old the temporary teeth erupts

    from 6 to 21 yrs old the permanent teeth erupts

    tips:

    - when the temporary teeth are properly align without any spacing by the age of 6, expect a crowded permanent teeth;
    - if the temporary teeth arent properly taken care of whereby early extraction are supposed to be done, expect malocclusion of the permanent teeth;
    - if the parents consist of crowding amnd crooked teeth expect that your kids may have the same problem as well, however early treatment could be done to prevent crowding and maloccusion.
